Talathi Recruitment has recently been announced by Maharashtra State Government. Officer of the State Government Shrikant Mohite issued a separate letter on 29th November and the government has approved the filling up of 1012 posts falling vacant on 31st December 2022 and 3110 newly created posts, a total of 4122 posts in Talathi cadre. Also, since the process for filling up those posts will be done by the commission after taking the information of department wise vacancies in the state for the posts filled through MPSC in January, clear orders have also been given to send the information to the commission in time.

Candidates who want to apply for these posts must have completed 12th and graduation according to the respective posts. Candidates who want to apply for these posts should be between 18 to 38 years of age. Relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PWD/OBC category candidates.
